With 7 years of experience in the Social Work field, I have developed, expertise in research methodology, health communications, organizational capacity building, and financial management. I have held roles as assistant director, research associate, client advocate and therapeutic riding volunteer. Currently pursuing a Master in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, with additional training in Global Health and Health Communications. I have special experience in grant writing and management, innovative use of technology, and policy advocacy. Recently for example, I brought to the University of Tennessee an innovative use of Microsoft Power Point that improved their presentation capacities. Through out my career I have gained a reputation for being easy to talk to, having integrity, realistic optimistic, and an innovator. I am interested I interning with an international non-governmental organization working in the international health and development sector.
